Ten things to know about me...

My love for writing began when I was in the third grade. We had a competition to see who could write the scariest story. The prize was $5...which is a lot of money when you are in the third grade! I wrote a story about my brother and sister...and won! That is when I realized that I LOVED telling stories. When I was in the seventh grade, I started working on the school paper and I haven't stopped writing since.

 

My degree is in Communication Arts with focuses in Journalism and Public Relations. My "beat", as they call it in the journalism "biz", is Human Interest.

 

My sweet tooth weakness is ice cream, which I like to let sit and melt for about 5 minutes before I eat it. 

 

I love music, and at any given time, I have a song playing in my head. 

 

Coldplay is my favorite band, and since they started touring in the US, I have never missed a show in either Philly or Hershey. I saw them twice during their Viva La Vida tour and will continue to see them until the day they stop touring...at which time I will cry in my favorite concert tee.

 

I have the biggest crush on Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Cillian Murphy and Ian Somerhalder and will watch anything they are in...even if it sucks!

 

I have a background in finance yet I am HORRIBLE at math. Seriously, I worked at a credit card company for almost a year and a bank for 4. I have no idea why I applied for these jobs or how I managed to get them! 

 

If I could pick any person from the past to interview, it would be Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 

 

I am a handbag enthusiast...I have 30...I use 3 but can't get rid of them, because, well, you know...I might need them at  some point. 

 

My favorite place EVER (well, that I have been to, anyway) is New York City.
